Happy New Year 2009!!!!

Last Wednesday, December 31st, Universal Bar said farewell to 2008 and rung in 2009 in style!

Patrons where entertained by Universal Bar favorites, Soul Corporation from 9pm into the wee hours of New Years Day.

Those lucky enough to venture up to the Terrace Bar, were delighted by its transformation from award winning Terrace Bar to Royal Ascot!!

Venue Manager Brett Lubicz said "The staff and I wanted to make patrons feel as though they were spending a night at the races."

"Every New Years Eve at Universal Bar is always a huge success. This being the first new years with the award winning Terrace Bar open, we really wanted to go that extra mile." said Mr. Lubicz.

All the staff at Universal Bar would like to thank all those who attended on the night and wish them best wishes and a very Happy New Year!!!

Sweet 16th - Las Vegas Nights

The team at Universal celebrated its' 16th Birthday on Friday the 12th of June with a night of fun and excitment that only the fabulous Las Vegas could offer.

Guest awakened their taste buds sipping on classic cocktails and Belvedere punch delights, crafted by AHA Hall of Fame Bartender and Venue Manager Brett Lubicz. The Wild Turkey promotions staff, worked the crowd, handing out prizes to lucky guests.

Friday night favorites Retrofit and Grand Theft Audio entertained the crowd with everything from soft rock through funk, rhythm and soul. A smorgasbord of sensual sounds that the high rollers in Las Vegas would've been proud of.

The Best Dressed prize went to VIP member Jamie Steele, for his 'Roulette Table' inspired suit.

Thanks to all who attended on the night, and helped make our sweet 16th one to remember. And you know what they say "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas."

TELETHON $1150 RAISED Thanks to the efforts of our Saturday night regulars, Soul Corporation and some very generous patrons, Universal Bar was able to raise a record $1150 for Telethon!
