Terrace Bar

Voted AHA Best Redeveloped Outdoor Area in 2008, the Terrace Bar is centered around comfort and sophistication. The upstairs Terrace Bar is the perfect place to hold functions for more than 90 guests. . Quite simply, amongst the best function venues in Perth.

The private bar features a large outdoor alfresco area, professional presentation facilities and a state of the art sound system.

The function rooms at the Terrace Bar are all tastefully decorated. Although designed in a contemporary style, the Terrace bar reflects the New Orleans inspired elements of the downstairs bar, cleverly mixed with the nostalgic features of the old building.

The Terrace Bar is best suited to large functions of 90-150, and a $400 deposit is required when booking the area. This is deducted from your total bill if more than 90 guests attend the function.

Terrace Bar Presentations

Chairs can be set up in the Terrace Bar for sit down presentations.
Laptop computers can be connected to the plasma screen, and additional presentation equipment, such as lecterns, can be hired.

Back Bar

A popular area for cocktail parties, the Back Bar is situated downstairs at Universal.

The area is designed for functions of 40 - 90 guests and whilst still in the main room of Universal, it is roped off exclusively for your group until 10pm.

The area features a plasma screen, a lounge area, and can be furnished with extra tables and chairs if required.

Room hire is complimentary for this area.

Front Bar

Situated at the front of the bar behind the large bi-folding doors, the Front Bar is perfect for functions of 15-40 guests.

The area is close to the stage, and is roped off exclusively for your group until 10pm.

Front Bar is suitable for birthday parties, work functions, small gatherings, Hen's Nights, and going away parties!

Room hire is complimentary for this area. Few function venues match the style and comfort on offer at the Universal Bar.
